Hey everyone! 👋 We've got a meaty update this week — a brand-new research capability, some nice touches for brand profiles and deliverables, and a batch of fixes to keep things running smoothly. Here's what's new:
Juma can now go deep. Deep Research kicks off a longer, multi-step research run that fans out across sources and pulls everything together into a full, cited report — perfect for those questions that need more than a quick answer. It runs on our new async engine, so it works away in the background while you keep doing other things. We're rolling this out to selected workspaces first and will open it up more widely soon.
Deliverables no longer need a chat thread to show up. When Juma produces a deliverable, you'll now see it rendered directly on its own surface — cleaner, faster, and less clutter. We also tightened up how branded deliverables look, so your colors, backgrounds, and text stay readable and on-brand with proper full-bleed pages.
Getting to your brand profile is now much smoother. You can jump in straight from a chat chip, start fresh from a URL-first empty state, or edit details inline right from the header — no digging through menus. It's a small change that makes keeping your branding up to date a lot quicker.
Admins will now get an email when a workspace's credits are running low or have run out, so you're never caught off guard mid-task. We've also added a configurable default top-up pack, making it quicker to keep your team topped up and working.
We cleaned up a few things this week. The share button now stays hidden on pure deliverables where it didn't belong, and we fixed a Firefox issue where chats could drop with an "Error in input stream." New-teammate flows no longer trigger unless you actually ask for one, Slack search is more resilient when a channel reference isn't valid, and agent memory does a better job of picking up and consolidating your preferences. We also sorted out workspace backups that were timing out on larger, multi-project workspaces.
That's it for today! Give these a spin — Deep Research especially — and let us know what you think. As always, we love your feedback. 💬
