Hey everyone! We've packed a lot into this one — from a brand-new credits system to smoother AI interactions and a bunch of quality-of-life fixes. Here's everything that's new in Juma this week:
We've rolled out a new credits system that gives you more flexibility in how you use Juma. You'll now see credits in your workspace that get consumed as you go, with clear visibility into your usage. New workspaces start with an initial credit balance so you can get going right away, and credits follow a first-expiring, first-consumed model so nothing goes to waste.
Checklists in your conversations just got a whole lot more useful. When an AI response includes a checklist, you can now click to check off items directly in the chat — no need to copy things into a separate tool. It's a small thing that makes keeping track of tasks and action items way more convenient.

Our in-app surveys got an upgrade. You might notice they can now include multiple questions in a single survey, and there's always an "Other" option so you can share feedback in your own words. We're always trying to make it easier for you to tell us what you think.
The Magic Wand is back in top form. We fixed a regression that was affecting its behavior and made several UX improvements to how it works in your conversations. It should feel noticeably snappier and more reliable now.

If you're using Google's Gemini models with MCP tools, things should work a lot more smoothly now. We've improved how tool schemas are handled to ensure full compatibility with the Gemini API.
We've added caching to our search engine so that repeated searches and lookups across your conversations are noticeably faster. You'll feel the difference especially when working within longer chats.
We've improved error messages across the platform so when something goes wrong, you'll get a clearer description of what happened instead of a generic error. We also fixed a layout overflow issue that could cause content to spill outside its container, cleaned up text wrapping in the MCP server tools list, and fixed prompt library navigation so it properly stays on your project page. MCP tool timeouts have also been increased to 5 minutes, so longer-running tools have more room to complete.
That's a big one! Give these updates a spin and let us know what you think — especially the new credits system and interactive checklists. As always, we love hearing your feedback! 💬
